EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) is a free nutrition education program offered in 16 counties in Ohio targetting low-income adults who care for children. Program assistants use interactive discussions and hands-on activities to guide participants through a series of lessons aimed at improving the total family diet and nutritional well-being.
If you are interested in an Ohio Person-In-Charge course (what used to be Level 1) , contact Pat Holmes holmes.86@osu.edu There is an online option available that is Ohio Department of Health approved. The Certificate is good for 3 years.
