Pat Holmes is a Family and Consumer Sciences county Extension Educator with OSU Extension. She is Certified in Family & Consumer Sciences with specializations in family resilience, financial wellness, and healthy lifestyles. She is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a B.S. in Vocational Home Economics and M.S. in Elementary Education.

Pat provides programs to promote family wellness related to food, money, and family teaching classes in food safety, health & wellness, money basics, Helping Children in Times of Stress, co-parenting, mindfulness, coping with stress, universal design for the home, and other topics related to families. Pat also provides staff training to organizations/businesses and is trained as a Community Coach. Pat is Co-Developer/Co-Editor of Smart Eating for Young Children, the first digital book at OSU Extension. Her passion is helping people be successful in life.
