Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Introduces Virtual Youth Nutrition Series

Are you a teacher or other leader of youth activities looking for ways to engage your students in this era of remote learning? The Ohio State University Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) has a series of nutrition classes delivered live and remotely over the internet that is designed for youth!
The EFNEP youth curriculum includes lessons about nutrition based on MyPlate. Youth participants learn about the importance of physical activity, how to read nutrition facts labels, but most of all, the classes are fun and engaging. Each weekly session in the seven-week series is approximately 30-45 minutes, delivered weekly, and the curriculum is available for a variety of ages.
