“5 County Solutions” Update

A collaboration between Clinton, Highland, Greene, Fayette and Montgomery counties to provide education and resources to those experiencing economic difficulties.

Chris Olinsky and Pat Brinkman, FCS Educators, have been selected to present an update on the 5 County Solutions web page <http://5countysolutions.osu.edu> and facebook page www.facebook.com/5countysolutions at the Ohio Association of Family and Consumer Sciences annual conference, April 1 in Perrysburg.  The web page is also featured in the OSU Extension Annual Report, available at http://extension.osu.edu. Check out these resources, designed for the unemployed and underemployed but with information for everyone!

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Agriculture today (6/17) announced the first discovery of Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) in Ohio. An exotic, invasive insect that kills maples and other trees, ALB was found in Bethel, Clermont County, in southwest Ohio.
