We provide hands-on and learn-by-doing fun activities in: - leadership |
|
4-H Agents Betty Wingerter and Brian Raison know the real reason for going to Camp... (we get to play as much as or more than the kids do!!!) |
CALL TODAY to join! We will put you in touch with a Club Leader in your area. They will then complete necessary paper work and get you enrolled!
Youths also have the opportunity to participate in the Montgomery County Fair taking projects in photography, archery, sewing, engineering, cooking, and gardening, as well as in large and small animal livestock!
We have almost 500 youths in Community Clubs, and over 3,000 4-H in the Classroom and after school program kids. We also have 170 Adult Volunteers leading programs, acting as mentors and being positive role models.
The 4-H curriculum (projects taken by youth members) is developed at Ohio State University under a peer-reviewed process to ensure academic excellence. Youth in the 4-H program are required to complete all elements of a project and to be judged and graded on their efforts. If you are interested in the 4-H program (open to youth in grades 3 – 12), send us an e-mail!
